FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQS)
Q. What causes leaking gutters?
A. The precise cause can range from damage to broken tiles and debris. The reason for this is often a lack of maintenance to remove debris from the gutters.
Q. Can blocked gutters cause my roof to leak?
A. Yes, blocked gutters can cause leaks to both tiled roofs and flat roofs by preventing rainwater from exiting the drainage system. The resultant backlog of water overflows into the roofing structure.
Q. What materials are available for gutter lining?
A. Generally, either a rubber-based system or a resin-based system is used. Resin – polyester or polyurethane and a mat backing is usually preferred over a rubber (EPDM or PVC) because they are resistant to tearing.
